Developing Dogs Parkour Instructors Workshop

22nd April 2018, 10.00 - 17.00

Dog parkour, sometimes known as urban agility, is an activity based on the principles of human parkour. It is a challenging, but fun, physical activity in which the dogs learn to interact with their environment. Just like in the human version, in dog parkour we work on ways to conquer obstacles, such as climbing, balancing, and jumping.

This is a great activity for all dogs – it can be adjusted to suit different needs according to age or fitness – an is especially suited to dogs who may need help to feel confident in new environments.

This workshop is aimed at dog trainers who want to add dog parkour to their classes – whether as a stand alone class or within existing classes – and will provide you with everything you need to get started sharing this exciting activity with your clients.

You will work your own dog – or we can lend you one if needed. All dogs must be able to cope in a learning environment and we can give space for dogs who need to work away from other dogs.
Dogs under 12 months may attend this workshop and will work to levels appropriate to their age.

This workshop is taught by Sian Ryan.

All attendees will be given access to a private Facebook group to support the course and to ask questions / share experiences as you go forward with teaching.

Book your place now, and get ready to offer great new skills for your clients to learn.
